About us

We work with some of the world’s most recognisable brands across a diverse range of products and services in the UK, Europe, United States and Asia.

UK based, designing and manufacturing Exhibitions, POS, retail display, product launches and events, the range of work produced ensures we will always have an answer to even the most challenging of briefs.

We have also been at the forefront of manufacturing using more sustainable, reusable and recyclable materials. Whether it's flat pack, self-assembly POS and retail display or exhibitions that can be used and reconfigured time after time.

About the role

The team at Veco Display are looking for an energised graduate to join our fast-paced design studio. The position will require someone interested in all aspects of the business, from design to project management and office administration. A willingness to learn on the job is key, as you’ll be experiencing a range of roles within the studio, learning new skills and processes from all members of the team.

We’re looking for a strong communicator with a creative flair, who can oversee projects from conception to completion, monitoring progress every step of the way. You’ll be involved in exciting retail and exhibition projects, spanning across all sectors and being delivered globally.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee planning of on-site jobs and in-house builds, monitoring the availability of team members and workshop capacity.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and stock, ensuring cross-quoting for the most competitive pricing.
  • Build strong working relationships with both the design and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transitions between concept creation and final execution.
  • Liaise with clients and the wider team to organise local builds and delivery of products.
  • Assisting in the implementation of health and safety at our production site and our on-site builds. Ensuring our Risk assessments and CPP forms are up to date for each on-site project.
  • Keeping the team regularly updated with project deadlines, upcoming work and material lead times.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and practices within the studio.
  • Contacting clients post-project to obtain feedback for further evaluation with the team.

Qualities we are looking for

  • A candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a track record of balancing multiple projects.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a basic understanding of materials and processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills when planning production schedules and on-site builds.
  • Confidence in communicating with every member of the team. Working closely with each department, including our Directors, Designers and production team.
  • A keen willingness to learn and grow new skills with each project, forming a strong relationship with each of our clients and their needs.
  • A candidate with the initiative to work independently when required, while also having strong team-working skills.
