Company Description

Assystem is an international company with one mission: accelerate the energy transition around the world.

Every day, our 8,000+ switchers located in 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Pacific Asia & Africa) connect their six thousand billion neurons to tackle the task of the century: switching to low-carbon energy. We are a collective committed to making the energy switch. Sharing our knowledge, expertise and values allows us to innovate and think differently about the energy transition.

Here is how you can be a part of that switch:

Job Description

Our two-year Graduate Programme is designed to accelerate your career — giving you exposure to live projects, expert mentorship, and the chance to make a real impact from day one.

You’ll benefit from:

  • Access to mentors and technical experts — learn directly from industry leaders.
  • Peer-to-peer learning through Graduate Forums — connect, collaborate, and grow together.
  • A tailored upskilling framework — develop both your technical and professional skills.
  • Rotations across industries, customers, and locations — broaden your perspective and experience.

Over the two-year self-directed journey, you’ll gain a unique insight into the nuclear industry. You’ll begin with broad exposure across teams and customers, before progressing into more discipline-focused work that aligns with your ambitions. Expect variety, challenge, and growth — all while contributing to some of the UK’s most significant energy projects.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking graduates (or soon to graduate) with a BEng / MEng in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Power Engineering (or a closely related discipline) who are eager to put theory into practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
