Deep Sea Electronics

Deep Sea Electronics is one of the world's top manufacturers of generator controllers, auto transfer switch controllers, battery chargers, and vehicle & off-highway controllers. We employ over 200 people across four continents and sell our products to 150 countries direct from our UK head office and through our comprehensive distributor network.

The successful candidate will join a small team of electrical design engineers within the production test development team. This is a small team who design and manufacture our product test equipment. As the business continues to grow, we have new products to design and develop on-site. Alongside this aspect, we are always looking to improve and move the current products to the next level of testing to help support increased output through production.

The Graduate Electrical Design Engineer will begin as a fixed term contract and will result in a permanent contract as an Electrical Design Engineer at DSE if successful.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
