Graduate Electrical Engineer (Building Services)
Location: London
Are you a Graduate Electrical Engineer with commercial Building Services experience looking to take the next step in your career?
We're working with a highly respected Building Services and Sustainability Consultancy that has been delivering innovative engineering solutions for over 35 years. The consultancy specialises in Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) design, alongside energy and sustainability consultancy, delivering low-carbon, high-performance building solutions across the commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial and leisure sectors.
What really sets this business apart is its commitment to developing its people. They have a strong culture of investing in their engineers, offering structured support, mentoring and genuine opportunities for progression. In fact, the company's current Managing Director joined the business as a Junior Engineer and progressed through the ranks to lead the company—a reflection of the long-term career opportunities available to those who are ambitious and eager to develop.
Due to continued growth, they're looking to recruit a Graduate Electrical Engineer who already has experience working within a Building Services consultancy and is ready to build on their existing knowledge.
The Role
As part of an experienced Electrical Engineering team, you'll work on a diverse range of projects from concept through to completion, supporting the delivery of innovative and sustainable electrical building services designs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
