Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Engineer to join our Epitaxy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop expertise in semiconductor epitaxial growth processes while contributing to process monitoring, data analysis, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working alongside experienced engineers and scientists, you will support the manufacture and development of high-performance semiconductor devices by analysing process data, maintaining metrology systems, developing scripting tools, and producing technical reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operation and optimisation of epitaxial growth processes.
  • Perform routine process monitoring and assist with process troubleshooting.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret manufacturing and metrology data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate data collection, analysis, reporting, and routine engineering tasks.
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of engineering databases and reporting tools.
  • Carry out metrology measurements using semiconductor characterisation equipment and ensure measurement accuracy and repeatability.
  • Analyse metrology results to verify process performance against specifications.
  • Produce regular engineering reports, dashboards, and presentations summarising process performance, yield, and key metrics.
  • Work closely with Process Engineers, Manufacturing, Quality, and Equipment Engineering teams to investigate process issues.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation and follow established quality procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and cleanroom working practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
