Job Description – Graduate Engineer Trainee (Documentum)

Position: Graduate Engineer Trainee – Documentum
Location: Telford, United Kingdom
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Work Model: Hybrid (Travel to Office Twice per Week)

Role Overview

Coforge is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Engineer Trainees who are eager to build a career in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Open Text Documentum technologies. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates who are willing to undergo comprehensive training and develop expertise in Documentum-based applications and solutions. The selected candidates will receive structured training and mentoring from experienced professionals and will work on enterprise-scale projects for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in training programs focused on OpenText Documentum and related technologies.
  • Learn and support Documentum administration, configuration, and development activities.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining enterprise content management solutions.
  • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to understand requirements.
  • Support application testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare technical documentation and user guides.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and project meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to project standards, quality processes, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Recent graduates (2025 or 2026 pass-outs).
  • Strong academic background and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Basic understanding of software development concepts and databases.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Java, SQL, Linux, or Web Technologies.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
