About Vateri
Vateri is a climate technology company specialising in developing breakthrough processes that enable the permanent capture and mineralisation of CO₂ into high-performance construction materials. Our technology supports a lower-carbon future in the construction industry by reducing concrete’s carbon footprint while enhancing its durability and performance.
Following a 10× scale-up, we are commissioning a pilot plant in Nottingham using real industrial flue gas to scale up our first commercial demonstrator. With collaboration from leading industrial partners and UK universities, we aim to accelerate the decarbonisation of global construction through innovative material science and sustainable engineering solutions.
The Role
We seek a Graduate Engineer to support pilot plant operations, CO₂-derived materials production, and concrete testing. You will work closely with our engineering and R&D teams, learning hands-on skills in process engineering, material science, and technology scale-up as we prepare for full commercialisation.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
