We're not looking for someone to sit in the corner and observe.
We're looking for five graduates who want to do real work, on real aerospace programmes, from day one.
R E Thompson is a specialist precision CNC machining and assembly company in Hampshire. We supply components for some of the most demanding aerospace, defence, space, and medical programmes in the world — to tolerances that leave no room for error.
We hold AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditations, and our Andover site runs one of the most advanced CNC manufacturing cells in UK aerospace.
Now we're hiring across five departments — and we want people who are hungry to grow with us.

THE ROLES — A QUICK OVERVIEW
01 · SALES
You'll learn how precision aerospace work is won — from first enquiry to accepted order. Quotations, customer relationships, estimating, and commercial strategy.
02 · QUALITY
Precision means nothing without proof. You'll support first article inspection, non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and AS9100 audits.
03 · MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING
Where engineering meets the shop floor. Process development, CNC tooling, work instructions, and contributing to new component introduction on our Grob G750T / Fastems FMS cell.

04 · PRODUCTION
Keeping aerospace components moving — on time, every time. Scheduling, capacity planning, ERP implementation support, and cross-team coordination.
05 · OPERATIONS
The role that holds everything together. Business improvement, ERP rollout, supply chain, HR administration, and process documentation across both sites.

A degree is preferred — but it's not a dealbreaker. What matters more:
