What would I do as a Field Sales Representative?

Working as a Field Sales Representative, the first few weeks of your role will be heavily training based as you're given a thorough induction into the company and market.

Once up and running fully, the day-to-day of the role will be visiting clients in person across Northern Scotland. Dealing with store owners, buying departments and department managers, your role will be a mix of new business, up-selling, cross-selling and offering product training.

There are a number of examples of graduates that have started their sales careers within this investment group and gone on to run individual businesses within the organisation.

The right individual will have a driving license due to the client-facing nature of the role and company car offered. They'll be confident, a strong face-to-face relationship builder, target driven and comfortable with working in an unpredictable environment where things can (and will) go wrong, whilst driven by the huge rewards of success in sales!

Whilst no work experience is required, people that have worked part-time in industries such as hospitality, retail or customer service alongside their degree have traditionally held strong transferable skills for a Field Sales Representative role.
