Graduate Food Technologist
Are you a recent Food Science, Food Technology or Nutrition graduate looking to build a career in one of the UK's largest food manufacturers?
We're looking for a Graduate Technical Assistant to join our bakery team, working at the heart of a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across quality, food safety, compliance and production, giving you exposure to how a major food manufacturing site operates.
This role would suit a graduate looking for their first step into Technical, Quality or Food Safety within a manufacturing environment.
You'll spend time both in the office and on the bakery floor, working closely with Production, Engineering and Technical teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety.
What You'll Be Doing Supporting quality and food safety activities across the site Carrying out factory and hygiene inspections Working with production teams to maintain high standards Assisting with audits, compliance checks and investigations Reviewing production data and identifying trends Supporting continuous improvement projects Helping ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements

Who We're Looking For Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition or a related subject Industrial placement, internship or work experience within FMCG manufacturing desirable Strong attention to detail Confident communicating with people at all levels Comfortable working both in an office and on the production floor Curious, proactive and keen to learn
