Graduate FP&A Analyst

Shoreham-by-Sea (Hybrid - 2 days from home)
£30,000-£32,000
(Internal job level reference: Senior Associate)

Your numbers. Our growth story.

Focus Group is a fast-growing, private equity-backed technology business, and right now our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team sits right at the heart of our next chapter. We're looking for a graduate who wants their analysis to actually shape decisions, not just sit in a spreadsheet.

You'll report to our FP&A Manager and get stuck into real business problems from day one. This is a graduate role built around real responsibility from the start — you'll be working with real data, real models, and real decisions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Helping build the annual business plan, regular forecasts, and management reporting
  • Delivering insight and analysis that helps the business hit its strategic goals
  • Supporting commission management and analysis of commission systems
  • Developing KPIs and metrics that track performance against strategy
  • Driving scenario modelling and planning, including capex forecasting
  • Extracting and combining data from multiple systems to build a clear picture
  • Supporting wider projects across the finance function

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
