Graduate Geologist : Aberdeen

Salary: GBP26,000 : GBP29,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geologist to join a well-established and growing ground investigation specialist based in Aberdeen. This independent consultancy delivers high-quality geotechnical and environmental services across Scotland, supporting projects from small residential developments to large-scale civil engineering works.

As a Graduate Geologist, you will gain hands-on experience across site and office-based activities, working with experienced engineers and technicians.

The Role

The Successful Graduate Geologist Will Be Involved In

  • Assisting with ground investigations, drilling and site testing
  • Logging soil and rock samples and supporting laboratory testing
  • Preparing factual and interpretive reports
  • Supporting environmental and contaminated land assessments
  • Working across a variety of projects throughout Scotland

Requirements

To be considered for this Graduate Geologist role, you should have:

  • A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Geoscience or similar
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • The ability to live in or commute to Aberdeen
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
