Graduate HR Analyst
City of London | £30,000 to £35,000 plus benefits | 4 days per week in the office
We are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected global financial services organisation in the City of London to recruit a Graduate HR Analyst.
This is a rare opportunity for a recent graduate, or an individual in the early stages of their career, to join an established HR team and build expertise across people analytics, HR operations, payroll, HR systems, and reporting. For somebody with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in how businesses use people data to make decisions, this role offers an outstanding foundation for a long-term career within HR.
- Working closely with experienced HR professionals, you will play an important role in maintaining and analysing employee data, producing reports and supporting key HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- You will gain exposure to a broad range of activities, from onboarding and payroll administration through to workforce reporting, HR systems, and process improvement initiatives.
- The organisation is also investing in technology and AI-enabled ways of working, giving you the opportunity to develop valuable experience in how modern HR functions are using automation, data, and digital tools to improve efficiency and support decision-making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
