Graduate Insights Analyst

Graduate Insights Analyst

Are you passionate about data and keen to kick-start your career in analytics? We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Graduate Insights Analyst. You’ll learn how to develop high-quality, robust data and analytics using tools like Databricks, Python, and GIT. You’ll support the design and development of scalable data models, write efficient code, and help produce datasets and reporting to support a data-driven business. This is a fantastic chance to build your skills in data and storytelling to help our business make informed decisions.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients, or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and models in Databricks using Python
  • Create data visualisations in Power BI
  • Support the team to follow technical standards, best coding practices, and version control procedures
  • Gain knowledge in insurance data metrics and reporting
  • Help deliver reports and insights within agreed timescales
  • Use tools like GIT and DevOps to track your work and manage version control
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements, with guidance from senior team members
  • Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments to improve your skills and stay current in analytics and cloud computing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
