About the Role
We are recruiting three ambitious and intellectually curious Graduate Journalists to join our London editorial team.
This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates aiming to build a career in aviation and aerospace journalism, one of the world’s most dynamic and globally significant industries. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced editors and reporters, contributing to breaking news, in-depth features, and analysis relied upon by senior executives in aviation and aerospace.
You’ll gain exposure to:
- Major international air shows
- Industry conferences
- Financial results briefings
- Interviews with senior leaders
Responsibilities
Your role will encompass:
- Researching, writing, and publishing accurate and timely news content for FlightGlobal.com
- Supporting features and analysis for Flight International and other editorial products
- Monitoring airline, defence, and aerospace developments, including financial and regulatory updates
- Conducting interviews with executives, analysts, and industry stakeholders
- Assisting with live coverage at global events and air shows
- Contributing ideas for newsletters, podcasts, and digital content
- Ensuring the highest standards of editorial integrity, balance, and accuracy
- Driving social media coverage for your assigned vertical

Requirements
We’re looking for strong candidates with the following qualifications:
- A recent graduate in journalism, media, politics, business, aerospace, or a related field
- Excellent written English and a keen eye for detail
- A clear interest in aviation, aerospace, defence or business journalism
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom
- Strong research skills, including competency in handling data and financial information
- Professional curiosity, confidence in asking insightful questions, and a collaborative mindset
- Eagerness to learn and develop
Previous internship experience or published work is desirable but not essential.
