Could you be the extra support some students need to stay engaged and make better progress in school? Are you looking for a secondary role that gives you broad experience working with young people who need additional guidance?

Graduate Learning Mentor
£85 - £100 per day
‘Good’ secondary school, Willenhall
Start September 2026, finish July 2027
1:1 and small group support for students with additional requirements

The Role

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students who need extra help to stay focused, organised, and engaged in school. You will work with pupils who have additional requirements, reinforce routines, support learning in lessons, and feed back clearly to teachers and pastoral staff on progress. Schools are expected to use a graduated approach to identifying needs, putting support in place, and reviewing the impact of that support.

The Candidate

  • You are calm, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with young people who need structure and encouragement.
  • You want meaningful school-based experience, you can communicate clearly with both pupils and staff, and you are interested in supporting students who may need extra guidance to make the most of school.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
