1:1 and small-group academic support for SEN students
The Role
As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will provide focused 1:1 and small-group support for secondary students with SEN. You will help pupils access lesson content, stay engaged in learning and build confidence in their academic ability. You will work closely with teachers and the SEN department to adapt support around individual needs.

The Candidate
This role will suit a patient, reliable graduate with a genuine interest in supporting young people. You should be able to build positive relationships, explain work clearly and remain calm when students need extra reassurance or encouragement.
Requirements
- 2:2 degree or above in any subject.
- A genuine interest in supporting students with SEN.
- Strong communication skills and a patient approach.
- The ability to work effectively with pupils, teachers and support staff.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
