Graduate Marketing Assistant

This hands-on role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with an expert and talented team for a self-motivated individual who's keen to start their marketing and scientific career in a growing business. We're looking for someone who's excited by science and marketing, is adaptable, has an excellent attention to detail and great interpersonal skills.

Your Duties Will Include

  • Content Creation: Assisting in the creation of compelling and scientifically accurate content for various channels, including webpages, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Digital Marketing: Supporting the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including managing email marketing, social media accounts, updating the company website, and contributing to SEO and PPC strategies.
  • Event Coordination: Helping to coordinate, and promote events such as webinars, Trade shows, and conferences. Manage logistics, help to prepare promotional materials, and support the sales team to ensure they are ready to shine at the event.
  • Market Research: Supporting the team by conducting research on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Campaign Management: Assisting in the development, execution, and analysis of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels to promote OGT products and services.
  • Lead Management: Supporting lead generation activities by coordinating email/event marketing campaigns, nurturing leads, and maintaining the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitoring and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns, using analytics tools to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Brand Management: Ensuring all marketing activities are aligned with OGT's brand guidelines and contribute to maintaining a consistent and professional brand image.
  • Collaborative Projects: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.

Essential

What we're looking for in you:

  • A degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field. A strong interest in the life sciences industry is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and accurate content tailored to various audiences.
  • Ability to analyse data/metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and inform future strategies.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, able manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new projects independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all marketing materials are of the highest quality and free of errors.

Desirable

  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing campaigns, including social media management, SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
  • Previous experience in a sales or a customer-facing role, demonstrating the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, CRM databases, content management systems (CMS), and email marketing software.
  • Experience of organising exhibitions or events, such as webinars, trade shows and conferences.
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) would be an advantage.
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and report on campaign performance.
