The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Graduate Marketing Executive to join our sales and marketing team and play an active role across a broad range of marketing and digital activities. This is a great opportunity to build on your academic and placement experience, develop your skills further, and grow your career within a progressive local manufacturing business.

This role is ideally suited to a recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, who is ready to take on real responsibility from day one.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing & Content

  • Support the creation of marketing content, including written copy, graphics, and digital assets for use across multiple channels.
  • Manage and schedule pre-approved posts across the company's social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.).
  • Monitor social media engagement and report on key performance metrics.
  • Assist with the production of e-newsletters, email campaigns, and other digital marketing activities.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support ongoing marketing strategies.

Website Support

  • Create and update website content across the company's websites, ensuring information is accurate, engaging, and aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Write and publish SEO-focused blog posts to support organic search performance, increase website traffic, and enhance brand visibility.
  • Carry out keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for new content and website improvements.
  • Review website performance and user engagement data, providing recommendations for content updates and optimisation.
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices, including optimising page titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal links.
  • Identify opportunities to improve website content, structure, and user experience to support lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Update product information, images, case studies, news articles, and other website content as required.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to support digital campaigns, product launches, and initiatives aimed at increasing the online visibility of the business.

Sales Support

  • Assist in the creation and development of sales promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, and product information sheets.
  • Support the sales team with the preparation of proposals, presentations, and quotation documentation.
  • Help maintain and update the sales database and CRM system, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with the coordination of sales campaigns and promotional activities.

General Administration

  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as required.
  • Organise and maintain digital filing systems, ensuring documents and assets are stored and labelled correctly.
  • Support the team with any ad hoc projects or tasks as directed by the manager.

Level of Qualification and Experience Required

Essential

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and an understanding of best practices for business use.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Desirable

  • Experience using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Prior experience in a marketing role, placement year, or internship, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environment.
  • Exposure to CRM or marketing automation platforms.
  • An interest in digital marketing, content creation, or sales strategy.

  • 33 days annual leave rising to 35 days after 2 years’ service.
  • Onsite gym open from 6am-11pm, Monday- Friday.
