Are you a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, who is looking to work in a fast-paced, global market-leading company?

The Role Overview

This hands-on role involves the designing of electro-mechanical products, building prototypes, and thoroughly testing and refining the designs. Finalized designs will be made ready for production, customer integration, and sales.

Responsibilities of Our Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer

  • Design new products and product improvements from the initial "sketch" phase through to manufacture
  • Build and test prototypes to assess performance, safety, quality, and manufacturability. Then iterate the design to make improvements
  • Optimize designs to ensure they are cost-effective and align with company processes and document standards
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the product integrates into their specific environments and systems

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Production or Design Engineering or a vocational equivalent
  • Competent with CAD and document control systems
  • Knowledge of mechanical mechanisms and design
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including injection moulding, assembly, and materials
  • Approachable, good communicator, and able to collaborate with others
