Most graduate jobs promise responsibility. This one delivers it on day one.
PepTalks is the UK's leading training and development platform for private equity-backed CEOs, CFOs and Chief People Officers: the leaders building, transforming and selling businesses worth hundreds of millions of pounds. We call it the Business Olympics. We help them perform.
We're a small, fast-moving team, which means we need someone who runs toward problems, not away from them.
What you'll actually do
- You'll become the operational engine behind everything we deliver: 180+ events a year, our CEO & CFO development programmes and the day-to-day experience of membership that senior executives take seriously.
- That means venues booked, logistics owned, nothing left to chance. It also means you'll be in the room with some of the UK's most accomplished business leaders from week one.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Who we're looking for
This role isn't for everyone. We're not interested in candidates who want a structured graduate programme with clear guardrails. We want someone who finds that idea slightly frustrating.
You're probably someone who:
- Gets things done without being asked twice
- Has exceptional attention to detail, the kind where things simply don't slip
- Is confident communicating with senior people, in writing and in person
- Picks up new tools quickly and is genuinely curious about working smarter
- Wants to build something, not just be part of something

Why PepTalks
- You'll work directly alongside founders and experienced operators.
- You'll interact daily with PE-backed CEOs, CFOs and management teams.
- And you'll develop the judgement, pace and commercial instinct that most graduates take years to acquire, if they ever do.
If that sounds like the start of something, we'd like to hear from you.
