Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Leicester for Graduate or near Chartered Structural Engineers. The role involves assisting with the analysis and design of structural elements for buildings and other civil engineering projects, under the guidance of senior engineers. Daily tasks include:

- Preparing calculations
- Developing structural models
- Reviewing technical drawings
- Coordinating with project teams to ensure designs meet safety, regulatory, and client requirements

The position also includes:
- Supporting site inspections
- Contributing to technical reports
- Participating in project meetings to progress design and construction activities
Qualifications
- Strong technical foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world projects.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and engineering Calculations to assess load paths, member capacities, and overall structural performance.
- Experience or training in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for producing and reviewing structural drawings and models.
- Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with Graduate or near Chartered status (or working towards professional accreditation).
- Good understanding of UK design codes and standards, and an interest in building regulations and industry best practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and site personnel.
- Organised, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous professional development.
