The Role
As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will support a Year 6 class through targeted 1:1 work, small-group interventions, and general classroom support. You will help pupils develop their understanding across the curriculum, reinforce key learning, and maintain engagement during lessons. You will also support preparation for SATs and help pupils approach their final primary year with confidence.

The Candidate
This role will suit a creative, organized graduate who can build positive relationships with pupils and bring energy to the classroom. You should be able to explain learning clearly, encourage pupils who need extra reassurance, and support the class teacher with day-to-day learning activities.
Requirements
- 2:2 degree or above in a creative subject.
- A genuine interest in primary education and supporting Year 6 pupils.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, patient approach.
- The ability to work confidently as part of a classroom team.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
