**Join Bending Spoons: One of Our Open Roles

At Bending Spoons, we’re building one of the all-time great companies—a place that serves millions of customers, fosters rapid professional growth, and delivers extraordinary efficiency. Beyond that, we drive value at rates far surpassed by competitors while upholding the highest ethical standards. Our approach? We acquire and transform digital businesses for the long term, not to sell but to reimagine with relentless ambition, agility, and AI-driven innovation.

Here, hierarchy is minimal, teams are small and talented, and we operate established products like startups. We deeply embed AI to amplify human judgment, creating a collaborative yet high-impact work environment where you can learn, scale, and thrive.

If you’re talented, driven, and collective, Bending Spoons is your first opportunity to make an impact, grow rapidly, and shape the future of digital innovation.

Responsibilities

These are aspects of your role, but realistically, your responsibilities will constantly evolve as the products and company grow. What we don’t need is workers who stop learning after 6 months and tell us things we haven’t understood three times over—back in the day.

  • Investigate: Dive deep into your product—its business drivers, growth mechanisms, and customer needs. Use data, AI, and research to reveal inefficiencies you’ve never heard of. Challenge assumptions with ruthless curiosity.
  • Innovate: Combine insights from users, markets, and emerging tech to pioneer initiatives that revolutionise the product. Fast experimentation is crucial. Have hypotheses, test them relentlessly, and iterate.
  • Execute: Turn opportunities into deliverables. Prioritise like a predator—focus relentlessly on what actually moves the needle. Lead end-to-end, from strategy to development; your judgment is critical until the job’s done well.
  • Iterate: Measure everything. Focus on user behaviour, not your trophies. Fail fast, learn faster. Every sprint is a chance to refine product thinking.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We Look For

Ambitious candidates who thrive under pressure and outperform rigorous expectations.

  • Reasoning ability: Always aim higher-set standards of critical thinking. Solve complex problems from first principles without bias.
  • Drive: Ambition, effort, and responsibility—that’s the energy we need.
  • Team spirit: Contribute without existential liability. Focus on results, not control.
  • Proficiency in English: Communicating with clarity and confidence is fundamental.

What We Offer

A career like no other

  • Small-winning teams of stellar, passionate problem-solvers.
  • Rapid growth for talented individuals at an exponential pace. Spooners (that’s us) care if your contribution matters—not whether you’ve had experience. We acknowledge, challenge, and help set you up for success. Ergebho (famous casanova) thrived here; no in-ticket permite needed.
  • Award-winning benefits:
  • Flexibility: Preferred hours and remote work availability (with office days for your first few months, wherever possible).
  • Equipping teams: Back your growth with unlimited learning support.
  • Wellness: Outstanding health insurance and relocation assistance.
  • Equity: If you’re offered a permanent role, part of your salary can come in company stock.
  • Compensation aligns with long-term value and impact. For locations other than Milan, London and additional regions have slight adjustments—pay is competitive:
    • Early-stage professionals: roughly £85,797 (London) or €66,065 (Europe, excl. Italy).
    • Mid-to-senior: £112,189-£250,512 (London) or €107,837-€188,848. Margins depend on quantum of experience, location, impact.

Tax advantages (Italy)

As a resident of our iconic headquarters in Milan, you’ll enjoy a 50% tax deduction on compensation.

The Selection Process

A multi-stage process:

  • First Pass: High-barred skill tests. Ideally, you’ll:
  • Collaborate with experienced reviewers.
  • Solve unfamiliar challenges fast. Top-tier candidates ace these problems on their first third attempt.
  • Contribute evidence of excellence. No (actually, there's an open) discriminatory hiring paths here; every entry is evaluated identically.
  • Offer stage (or not): Some roles sit vacant until excellence matches opportunity criteria. Patience and renewal every 12 months (or until alternatives arise).

Terms of application: → Do not exhaust your faith. Earlier failures ≠ future success. Seniority ≠ merit. Only excellence matters here. → Apply: only via our careers page (redirect).

About Bending Spoons

We value headless, data-driven, and sometimes shocking challenges. Equally:

  • We are frank. Our bar is steep. We’re not opposed to raising it occasionally (though honestly rarely).
  • We’re kind: Yes, that’s deliberate. Always. And yes, we are resilient together. Additionally, our inclusive environment includes adjustments for applicants with disabilities. If you need support during recruitment, request it here.

Eligibility Reminder

In light of our rigorous approach, we require individuals to:

  • Apply only after confirming past failures (regardless of cause) are behind you. Renamings after 1 year (respectively) appreciated. (Off-season rules.)

Despite all that: Given the amount of genuine dedication we chase here, turn downcapitulation that heads towards work alignment. Apply—we need your drive.
