Summary of Position

We are seeking a Graduate Product and QA Analyst to join our growing product and quality assurance team. This is a hybrid role combining business analysis with hands-on software testing, providing an excellent opportunity to develop skills across both disciplines in a regulated, complex domain of customs and excise.

You will work closely with our product and QA team to help translate business and regulatory requirements into clear specifications, and to ensure our software solutions are thoroughly tested and meet the needs of our customers.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is looking to build expertise in software product management, business analysis, and quality assurance within a specialist environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with the capture, documentation, and clarification of business and regulatory requirements across Langdon’s software products.
  • Support senior analysts in writing user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Help maintain product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and internal knowledge articles.
  • Contribute to the analysis of UK and EU customs and excise regulations and how they affect our software.
  • Participate in requirements workshops and client meetings to understand business needs.
  • Design, document, and execute test plans for new features, regulatory changes, bug fixes, and client-specific configurations.
  • Perform functional, regression, and edge-case testing across all Langdon software solutions.
  • Perform internal and external client training sessions.
  • Maintain and extend regression test suites to ensure new changes do not break existing functionality.
  • Log, track, and retest defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and documentation standards.
  • Support SLA performance and maintain clear, professional internal communication with internal teams.
  • Contribute to team knowledge, continuous improvement, and best practice initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
