About The Role
As a Graduate Project Engineer, you'll join our Programmes team and gain hands-on experience coordinating and supporting exciting projects from concept through to delivery, working alongside experienced engineers and engaging with global customers, including Airbus and Boeing.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical and project management skills within a fast-growing, collaborative environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact from day one.
Your Main Responsibilities
As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of aircraft seating programmes, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, to cost, quality and performance targets. Working closely with Engineering, Programmes, Operations and Supply Chain teams, you will:
- Support the coordination of activities relating to customer programmes and aircraft seating projects
- Assist in managing programme schedules, milestones and deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and activities are achieved
- Monitor programme progress and support reporting activities
- Assist with tracking programme costs and key performance indicators
- Support design change activities and technical discussions with internal stakeholders
- Help identify and mitigate programme risks and issues
- Prepare presentations and updates for programme reviews and leadership meetings
- Gain exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI) and product lifecycle activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process development

About You
To help Mirus continue our journey of growth, we're looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious graduate with a passion for engineering, innovation and problem-solving along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:
- Degree qualified (or due to graduate) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach with a willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Competent with Microsoft Office applications
Desirable
- Placement year, internship or project experience within engineering or manufacturing
- Knowledge of project management principles and tools
- Familiarity with CAD, MS Project or other planning software
- Understanding of product development, manufacturing processes or regulated industries
- Interest in aerospace, aviation or passenger experience products
Be eligible to work in the UK, comfortable commuting or being based in Hingham, Norfolk and work flexible hours required
