About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be at the forefront of the Projects Team, working closely with Project Managers on a range of exciting and innovative schemes. Our aim is for every project to be delivered on time, in scope and in budget. Each day will be different, as you liaise with clients, the factory and our installations department to make sure everything runs smoothly throughout the lifecycle of a project. As such, your engineering skills will be super valuable, ensuring we provide accurate technical information to clients and partners as well as spotting and resolving problems proactively.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the Project Manager in the delivery of projects on time, in scope and in budget.
  • Reviewing and checking technical designs, specifications and reports to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining project records, including contractual and technical documentation.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure technical information is supplied and received as required.
  • Coordinating engineering activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Visiting sites across the U.K. and Europe as required.

Who we're looking for

  • A recent engineering graduate who is keen to develop their career in an environmentally conscious business.
  • A recent graduate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, but not essential.
  • An enthusiastic and positive individual who can work on their own initiative.
  • A forward thinker with the ability to spot and proactively resolve issues and challenges before they arise.
  • A person who has a relentless drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • A strong communicator who is able to negotiate with diplomacy and collaborate with a variety of internal and external teams.
  • A candidate who is calm under pressure, able to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple projects at varying stages of the project life cycle.
  • A person with a willingness to learn and develop across multiple disciplines.
  • An individual with a full UK driving licence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
