Overview
Our client is a UK-based specialist focused on transforming care homes into modern, safe, and welcoming environments that enhance residents' quality of life. They deliver end-to-end refurbishment services including:
- Interior redesign
- Accessibility upgrades

The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating projects, liaising with stakeholders, and maintaining oversight while demonstrating clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Location & Hours
Location: Chester, Cheshire / Liverpool, Merseyside Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Remuneration & Benefits

Role Summary
As a Graduate Project Manager, prepare to collaborate with an experienced team to assist in:
- Maintaining clear and consistent oversight of refurbishment projects
- Liaising and reporting to stakeholders
- Undertaking procurement and ensuring value engineering
- Developing subcontractor relationships to build shared business growth
- Attending progress review meetings with dynamically updated reporting
- Supporting Health & Safety compliance throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Oversight
- Provide general accountability for a portfolio of refurbishment projects
- Report progress and milestones to relevant stakeholders as needed
- Contribute to end-to-end project delivery through all lifecycle stages
Stakeholder & Subcontractor Engagement
- Partner with site teams, offering guidance at varying project development stages
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to meet project objectives
- Cultivate strong industry relationships to drive future business
Operational & Administrative Tasks
- Assisting in procurement activities with a focus on value engineering
- Ensuring accurate commercial reporting across all project phases
- Attending site visits and project reviews, providing timely updates
Safety & Compliance Commitment
- Emphasise high standards of Health & Safety, complying with all stipulated regulations
- Ensuring projects meet fire and asbestos safety protocols

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Construction Management, related disciplined or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience (construction, refurbishment or construction industry)
- CSCS Card Beneficial but not essential
- Demonstratable commercial awareness
- Knowledge of JCT forms of contract
- Understanding of Fire and Asbestos safety and standards
- Strong organisation and self-management skills
Personal Attributes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Pro-active problem-solving mindset
- Ability to build strategic relationships to expand business networks
- Solid time management and adaptability
- Willingness and ability to:
- Travel to sites across UK
- Regularly commute between Chester/Liverpool
