Graduate Project Manager - Construction Consultancy

Leeds

Salary up to £28,000

Are you ready to kick-start your career in project management with a consultancy that's doing things differently?

We're working with a dynamic, fast-growing construction consultancy that's built a reputation for delivering exceptional projects while putting its people first. Founded by experienced industry professionals with a vision to challenge the traditional consultancy model, they've created a collaborative, supportive environment where graduates are trusted, developed, and encouraged to thrive.

With a strong presence across Yorkshire and the wider UK, you'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting projects spanning infrastructure, healthcare, education, regeneration, commercial, and public sector developments. No two projects are the same, giving you the chance to build invaluable experience from the very start of your career.

This is far more than a typical graduate role. You'll gain genuine responsibility from day one, working alongside experienced Project Managers who will mentor and support you as you progress towards chartership and develop into a confident project professional.

The Role

As a Graduate Project Manager, you'll support the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion while developing your technical knowledge and project management skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects from early planning through to completion.
  • Supporting Project Managers in maintaining strong client relationships and attending project meetings.
  • Assisting with the management of project programmes, budgets, risks, and quality standards.
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
  • Preparing project reports, monitoring progress, and maintaining key documentation.
  • Supporting procurement activities and contractor engagement.
  • Attending project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Learning to identify, monitor, and manage project risks and change.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with health & safety legislation and industry regulations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
