Graduate Quantity Surveying Position – Water Business (UK)

Our Water business division is seeking a Graduate to join our team as a valued national provider of infrastructure and non-infrastructure water and wastewater services to UK water utility companies.

About the Role

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will work alongside the commercial team, supporting Quantity Surveyors in estimating and controlling costs for our construction projects. This role involves working closely with both internal colleagues and clients throughout every stage of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing and processing subcontractor applications and payments
  • Supporting negotiations and addressing commercial issues
  • Assisting the work-winning team with tender applications
  • Preparing monthly valuations, reports, and variations

Academic Qualifications

  • A minimum 2:2 Bachelor’s degree (or predicted at start date) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • Awareness of NEC contracts

Technical & IT Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Strong IT and organisational skills

Soft Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, time management, and relationship building capabilities
  • A valid driving licence (or active pursuit towards attainment)
  • Dedication to achieving professional accreditation

  • Availability to start full-time by September 2026
