Graduate Recruitment Consultant - White Collar Construction

Search is looking for a Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join our growing White Collar Construction team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to learn from a team of experienced recruiters while building your own market across the construction industry, specialising in permanent recruitment.

You'll recruit across Build and Civils, partnering with leading contractors and consultancies throughout the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West. From Site Managers and Quantity Surveyors to Project Managers and Design Managers, you'll play a key role in connecting talented people with some of the UK's most exciting construction projects.

The Role

  • Develop strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and winning new business through proactive B2B sales.
  • Source and engage high-quality construction professionals using LinkedIn, networking, referrals and leading job boards.
  • Interview and assess candidates to understand their experience, motivations and career aspirations.
  • Manage the full recruitment process from initial vacancy briefing through to offer management and placement.
  • Become a trusted recruitment partner to clients by understanding their business and delivering tailored hiring solutions.
  • Build your reputation as a specialist within the White Collar Construction market across the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West.
  • Consistently work towards personal and team targets while developing a successful, long-term recruitment desk.

What We're Looking For

  • Ambitious individuals who are driven and motivated to build a successful career in sales and recruitment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build relationships and influence people at all levels.
  • A resilient, proactive mindset with the determination to overcome challenges and achieve goals.
  • A commercial mindset and genuine interest in business development.
  • Confidence to pick up the phone, ask questions and build relationships with both candidates and clients.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail or other target-driven environments would be advantageous but isn't essential.
