Understanding Recruitment is an award-winning technology, software and digital recruitment consultancy based in St Albans. We’re in an exciting period of growth and are looking for ambitious graduates to join our high-performing teams.
As a Graduate Researcher, you’ll join a structured training programme designed to set you up for success from day one. You’ll be supported by our in-house Learning & Development team, external industry experts, and experienced consultants who will mentor you throughout your journey.
Responsibilities
- You’ll work closely with an established client base, helping to source top tech talent across specialist markets.
- This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where you’ll develop skills in relationship building, candidate management, and delivery, while making a real impact on growing businesses.

Required Skills
- Motivated, resilient and eager to build a long-term career.
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with people.
- Any background in sales, customer service, hospitality or similar environments is a plus.
Salary: £26,800 + OTE + excellent benefits
