Graduate Sales Broker

Graduate Sales Broker Hemel Hempstead £25k pa Professional Services - M&A If you’re commercially minded, naturally competitive, and motivated by building relationships rather than sitting behind a spreadsheet all day, this could be a strong first step into a long-term career within mergers and acquisitions.

A growing advisory business within the Professional Services space is looking to hire a Graduate Sales Broker to help identify and develop relationships with future business sellers across the UK market. The role focuses heavily on outbound relationship building within the legal and accountancy sectors, speaking with business owners, understanding motivations, and uncovering future opportunities before competitors even know they exist. Human beings have somehow turned buying and selling firms into an art form involving coffee, persistence, and LinkedIn stalking with better tailoring.

This is a full-time office-based opportunity offering structured mentoring, direct exposure to experienced dealmakers, and a genuine progression route into the world of corporate finance and M&A. The Graduate Sales Broker role would suit someone who enjoys speaking with people, handles rejection well, and wants to build a commercially focused career where performance and personality matter.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
