Graduate Sales Broker Hemel Hempstead £25k pa Professional Services - M&A If you’re commercially minded, naturally competitive, and motivated by building relationships rather than sitting behind a spreadsheet all day, this could be a strong first step into a long-term career within mergers and acquisitions.
A growing advisory business within the Professional Services space is looking to hire a Graduate Sales Broker to help identify and develop relationships with future business sellers across the UK market. The role focuses heavily on outbound relationship building within the legal and accountancy sectors, speaking with business owners, understanding motivations, and uncovering future opportunities before competitors even know they exist. Human beings have somehow turned buying and selling firms into an art form involving coffee, persistence, and LinkedIn stalking with better tailoring.
This is a full-time office-based opportunity offering structured mentoring, direct exposure to experienced dealmakers, and a genuine progression route into the world of corporate finance and M&A. The Graduate Sales Broker role would suit someone who enjoys speaking with people, handles rejection well, and wants to build a commercially focused career where performance and personality matter.

What you’ll be doing Researching and identifying prospective firms within the legal and accountancy markets Building new relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers across the UK Making outbound calls and introducing advisory services in a professional and credible way Developing long-term conversations with potential future sellers rather than hard-selling Maintaining accurate pipeline and relationship records Learning how deals are originated, qualified, and progressed within an M&A environment Working closely with experienced brokers and directors to develop commercial awareness Attending meetings and gradually taking on more responsibility as confidence grows
