Our client was founded in 1987 and since have grown to become a cable stockist, specialising in the supply, management and distribution of electric cables. The two main categories of cables they supply are industrial flexible cables and fixed wiring energy cables.
This client is part of a wider business that has an annual turnover of £1.1 Billion, consisting of Wholesale and Distribution Companies across varied market sectors across the UK. The group has been and remains highly acquisitive creating opportunities nationwide for all employees.

Based out of the Thurrock office, you will be learning all aspects of the business. During your first 3 months you will be immersed in an intensive training period and gain insight into various areas of the business. This will involve product, skills and industry sales training both in-house and with external training providers.
Once you have begun finding your feet, you will then be introduced to your sales targets. Your role will be largely handling incoming inquiries from existing customers about pricing, product details etc. You will be representing their full range of products and selling into mainly independent Electrical Wholesalers.
The business invests in Sales Trainees from the beginning, offering both internal and external industry-leading training tailored to the individual where possible. This can include but not limited to; commercial knowledge, sales training, self-development opportunities, financial and analytical skills and understanding the operational side of the business, beginning with enrolling you onto the sales training. Every trainee will also receive 1 to 1 mentoring from an experienced business manager. There are significant opportunities for progression throughout the group and you will be given access to all the tools necessary to forge yourself a successful career.
