Looking to start a career in sales?
At Rockborne, we're building the next generation of Data & AI talent. We partner with some of the UK's leading organisations, helping them solve complex data challenges through specialist consulting, training, and talent solutions.
We're now growing our commercial team and are looking for ambitious individuals to join us as Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). No previous sales experience is required. We're looking for people with energy, curiosity, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in building a career in sales.
The Opportunity
As an SDR, you'll be responsible for generating opportunities for our commercial team by identifying and engaging organisations that could benefit from Rockborne's services. This isn't a traditional high-volume cold calling role.
You'll learn how to research markets, identify target organisations, understand industry challenges, and build thoughtful outreach campaigns that generate meaningful conversations with senior decision makers. You'll work closely with our Growth Director, CEO, Senior SDR, and SDR Manager, receiving hands-on coaching and training as you develop your sales skills.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
