Graduate Scheme! – Kick-start your career in education

Do you want to work in schools and make a real difference in children’s lives? Whether you’re a graduate in Psychology, Education, Drama, or Performing Arts, a sports coach, or simply someone passionate about supporting young people, this is your opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience and help students thrive.

We’re looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates or anyone with a strong can-do attitude who wants to make a difference in education.

What does a Cover Supervisor do?

  • Supervise whole classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring lessons run smoothly
  • Deliver pre-prepared work and keep pupils focused and engaged
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Provide support and guidance where needed, helping pupils stay on track
  • Be a positive role model, creating a calm and productive learning environment

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
