Responsibilities
As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teaching and learning during science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions for students needing extra support
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
- Help students develop confidence and independent learning skills in the science classroom
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong academic background, including a 2:1 or higher degree in a science-related subject from a leading university
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach
- Experience working with children and young people (desirable but not essential)
- A passion for education and a desire to pursue a career in this field
