Responsibilities

As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teaching and learning during science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)
  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions for students needing extra support
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
  • Help students develop confidence and independent learning skills in the science classroom
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong academic background, including a 2:1 or higher degree in a science-related subject from a leading university
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Experience working with children and young people (desirable but not essential)
  • A passion for education and a desire to pursue a career in this field
