A successful and inclusive secondary school in Coventry is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Secondary Learning Support Assistant to join its support team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a recent graduate considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilites), counselling, or another education-focused profession.

Working alongside experienced teachers and pastoral staff, you will support students aged 11-16, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve both academically and personally.
Responsibilities
- Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in lessons
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions
- Assist teachers in creating engaging and inclusive learning environments
- Support students requiring additional academic or pastoral guidance
- Help build students’ confidence, resilience, and independence
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community
Requirements
Candidate
- Holds a 2:1 degree or higher in:
- Psychology
- Education Studies
- Maths
- English
- Science
- A related subject
- Has a genuine passion for education and supporting young people
- Demonstrates strong communication skills
- Is considering a future career in education or a related field
- Holds the right to work in the UK
