Join a forward-thinking school in Bexley as a Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant and be part of an exciting new project: the first Primary SEMH provision within a mainstream school in the borough. With a significant intake of pupils planned for September, this is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a provision being built from the ground up within an Outstanding Two-School Trust.
Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant | What's on Offer:

Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant | The Role:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs within a primary setting
- Support pupils with emotional regulation, engagement, and behaviour strategies
- Work closely with teachers and the wider team to deliver structured interventions
- Help create a safe, consistent and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to pupil progress tracking and pastoral support plans
Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant | Who We're Looking For:

- A University Degree (2:1 or above preferred)
- A strong interest in SEMH, education, or child development
- Experience supporting children or young people (desirable but not essential)
- Calm, resilient and confident when supporting challenging behaviour
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Ambition to develop within a specialist provision or pursue further training
