Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant | Waltham Forest | September 2026 Start
A highly regarded primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant to join its inclusion team from September 2026 until July 2027.
This role is ideal for graduates interested in SEND, Educational Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy or teaching. Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant Benefits
- £444-£513 per week via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
- Full-time role from September 2026 until July 2027 with potential extension
- Access to specialist SEND training and weekly CPD

The Role
You will support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them access learning, build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Responsibilities include implementing intervention plans, adapting resources and collaborating with teaching staff to ensure students receive consistent support.

The Ideal Candidate
- Russell Group graduate with a 2:1 degree or above
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Patient, resilient and proactive approach
- Passion for SEND and inclusive education
