Graduate Service Engineer

Grid Automation Team Engineer – Stone, Staffordshire

About the Role

Join our Grid Automation Team and contribute to the advancement of power grid technology, making a meaningful impact in the energy sector.

This full-time position is based in Stone, Staffordshire, with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days on-site per week. You’ll work within a supportive, dynamic team of just eight exceptional engineers—offering you exposure to the best talent in the business.

The role demands a proactive attitude and a readiness to collaborate with service repair, commissioning, and maintenance teams to deliver high-quality solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice to customers on the effective and efficient use of our products and equipment.
  • Commission, install, and test our systems to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Address and resolve complex technical issues during implementation and operation.
  • Conduct investigations and propose product and equipment upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, aligning with their needs to secure future business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Grid Automation Engineering Department to support:
    • SCADA systems installation and commissioning
    • Communication networks troubleshooting
    • Protection systems analysis and maintenance
