Graduate Site Manager (Birmingham – Site Based)
Location: Birmingham – Site Based
Department: Housing Partnerships Midlands
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Site Manager to join our Housing Partnerships Midlands team. This role involves assisting the Site Manager in supervising and delivering on-site construction activities safely, efficiently, and within budget, adhering to design standards, specifications, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and report to the Site Manager regarding contractors and labour forces on-site
- Ensure works are completed to the highest workmanship standards in line with a "Right First Time" ethos
- Monitor project progress, ensuring resource availability and timeline alignment
- Assist in implementing and executing project plans efficiently
- Manage all relevant paperwork and ensure timely submissions
- Organise project activities on-site to drive success
- Maintain supply chain communication for smooth delivery
- Support collaborative planning and programme reporting
- Ensure the supply chain follows risk assessments and method statements
- Attend project meetings, reporting site progress updates
- Understand and contribute to financial contract delivery, aiding project profitability
- Assist in mobilisation period tasks, e.g., organising site set-up and security
- Complete incident reporting & procedural audit logs to meet monthly KPI targets

Core Requirements
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent (e.g., BTEC ONC/HNC) – desirable
- Basic understanding of construction processes, materials, and health and safety
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project)
- A valid driver’s license
