Graduate Social Media Manager – ON-SITE, LONDON

United Media builds large-scale industry media and conferences across sectors including insurance, HR, private equity and retail. We’ve organically launched six companies and acquired one.

Your Responsibilities

This role is dynamic, but central tasks include:

  • Email marketing
    • Manage copywriting, graphics, strategy and optimisation for newsletters, product updates and exclusive promotions.
  • Social media growth management
    • Lead and grow our LinkedIn (primary channel), trialling new content formats.
    • Expand engagement on YouTube and launch our Twitter strategy.
  • Graphic design
    • Maintain our visual identity across all marketing channels (training provided).
  • Website development & optimisation
    • Collaborate on SEO improvement, UX optimisation and launching new formats reflecting our brand.
  • Performance analytics
    • Monitor and enhance metrics and KPIs, targeting ambitious performance goals.
  • Paid advertising & PPC campaigns
    • Execute and refine paid campaigns.
  • Interdepartmental collaboration
    • Work with other teams to identify and distribute valuable content, while communicating brand progress.

What We’re Looking For

No prior experience is essential—we offer training—but the following skills and mindset are crucial:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK (valid work permit required).
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree, or currently working towards a university qualification.
  • A relentless drive to excel in everything you do.
  • Unwavering work ethic, extreme sense of urgency.
  • Proactive ownership: take initiative, prioritise well, and follow through on commitments.
  • People passion: curious about others, enjoy speaking, building, and nurturing relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to structure and prioritise workload effectively.

Start Date

Flexible

Location: Onsite, Monday–Friday at our offices at Buckingham Gate.
