Are you a Graduate Software Developer, who is looking to work in a fast paced, global, market leading company?

Here at Innovative Technology, we have an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Software Developer to join our site-based Biometrics team at our global head office in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

The Role Overview

As a Software Developer within our Biometrics Team, you will drive the evolution of our product suite by maintaining and developing cutting-edge software tools.

Responsibilities Of Our Graduate Software Developer

  • Develop and support maintenance on the codebase for the Biometric products
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and validation of new algorithms to ensure our product accuracy continues to be industry leading, through development of current knowledge and willingness to undertake research
  • Investigate and resolve underlying issues based on testing
  • Develop and improve upon current software tools to evaluate performance of biometric products
  • Ensure that code added to the pipeline/common Git repositories is of the required standard and is well documented/commented so that it is easy to maintain and extend
  • Work closely with Software Development team to ensure delivery of targets
  • Contribute to improvements to the face analysis algorithms, including but not limited to:
    • Optimisation of current pipeline
    • Research and development of novel techniques
    • Implementation and testing of new techniques

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of a prototyping language such as Python
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, including C++ and C
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design
  • Manage multiple workstreams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical approach to problem solving and bug fixes
