To support the continued growth of this platform, we are now seeking a Graduate DevSecOps Engineer to join our UI team.
Job Description
Elwood is currently recruiting a Graduate UI Software Engineer to join our intensive graduate programme within our Engineering team. This initiative focuses on our UI Engineering department, offering deep exposure to the integration of interfaces with our Backend and Market Connectivity infrastructure. Through this specialisation, you will acquire elite frontend technical expertise and comprehensive business knowledge, becoming a vital member of the Elwood community while exploring digital asset markets. - Develop and enhance user interfaces across the Elwood technology estate, building intuitive trading and portfolio management platforms.
- Work collaboratively with Product, Design, and Backend teams to translate requirements into responsive, highly functional UI features.
- Meet deadlines in support of a fast-moving release cycle, ensuring highly reliable frontend deployments.
- Leverage modern frontend technologies (such as React, TypeScript, and state management tools) with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Contribute to all areas of the frontend development lifecycle, including component design, development, API integration, automated testing (unit and end-to-end), and maintenance.
Qualifications / Knowledge
- Degree in a STEM discipline (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar)
- UI programming experience in React / TypeScript.
- A firm grounding in an object oriented programming language: C#, C++, Java, Python,
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including UI/UX principles, responsive design, and web performance optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and design fidelity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- A passion for a career in a FinTech environment, and a genuine interest in the Crypto / Digital Assets space.
