Theodo is an engineering & design consultancy with offices in Paris, London, New York, Casablanca, and Cape Town. We build high-quality digital products for clients across industries, and we are increasingly working with enterprise organizations on complex, high-impact tech modernization programs - including AI-powered code modernization. We run lean internally: we care about process, continuous improvement, and doing things properly. Our founders have written books on the best practice for using lean to scale agile in large organizations.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Graduate Software Engineer to join our engineering team and kick-start their career building real products for our clients. You'll be working with experienced engineers from day one, working across the stack on live projects rather than sandboxed training exercises.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn fast, take on responsibility quickly, and grow into a well-rounded software engineer.

Key Responsibilities
- Write, test, and maintain code as part of a cross-functional delivery team
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
- Work closely with senior engineers to learn best practices in software design, testing, and deployment
- Help troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues
- Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders, communicating progress and gathering feedback throughout delivery
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Continuously build your skills through on-the-job learning, mentoring, and training
What We're Looking For
- A recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM subject
- A genuine passion for technology and problem-solving
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- A curious, proactive mindset, comfortable asking questions and learning from feedback
- Eagerness to take ownership of tasks and grow into greater responsibility over time
Required Skills And Experience

- Solid foundation in at least one programming language (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#)
- Understanding of core computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, version control)
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Exposure to web development, databases, or cloud platforms is a plus (through coursework, internships, or personal projects)
- No professional experience required, we're looking for potential and a willingness to learn
