Salary: Up to £32,000 | School-Based Teacher Training Opportunity

An outstanding secondary school in London is looking to appoint an ambitious Graduate Spanish Trainee Teacher to join its successful Modern Foreign Languages department from September 2026.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented Spanish graduate who is eager to begin a teaching career through a fully supported, school-based teacher training programme leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Working alongside experienced MFL teachers, you will gain invaluable classroom experience before gradually taking responsibility for planning and delivering engaging Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to support Key Stage 5 where appropriate. You will play a key role in developing students' confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing while encouraging an appreciation for Spanish language and Hispanic cultures.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A 2:1 degree or above in Spanish, Hispanic Studies, Modern Languages or a closely related subject.
  • Strong spoken and written Spanish.
  • A genuine ambition to become a qualified Spanish Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for languages and helping young people succeed.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
  • The right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
