Graduate Speech and Language Therapist - SEND Support, KPI EDUCATION

Graduate Speech and Language Therapist – SEND Support

Location: Birmingham Contract: Full Time Start Date: September Salary: £29,000 – £36,000 per year

About the Role

Are you a newly qualified Speech & Language Therapist eager to gain practical experience in an educational setting? Looking to make a real difference for children and young people with communication and learning challenges?

This exciting graduate opportunity allows you to develop your therapeutic skills while working alongside pupils, teachers, and SEND professionals. Ideal for those looking to build experience in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), education, or healthcare before specialising further.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with SENDCo, teaching staff, and pastoral teams to support students with a range of speech, language, and social communication needs, helping them thrive in mainstream education.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
