Strategic Programme Specialist / Business Operations Support Graduate
London | Full-Time | Permanent

We are seeking an ambitious and analytically-minded graduate to join our Strategy & Business Operations team. Working directly with the Chief Strategy Officer, you'll gain unique exposure to the inner workings of investment banking while helping drive strategic initiatives, technology projects, business transformation, and operational improvements across the firm.
This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate in Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, Physics, or a related analytical discipline who is looking for a fast-paced, commercially focused role with significant responsibility from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of the Strategy & Business Operations function, you will:
- Coordinate and track strategic programmes and business improvement initiatives
- Support technology, data and operational projects across multiple teams
- Work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer, Technology, Data & Development, HR and senior business stakeholders
- Prepare reports, presentations, project documentation and management information
- Improve communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows and business efficiency
- Support change management initiatives and technology adoption across the organisation
- Help maintain project plans, action logs, risk trackers and business roadmaps

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a bright graduate with excellent problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in technology, business strategy and financial markets.
Essential
- Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics or a related subject
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with a desire to learn
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving
Desirable
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Trello or Microsoft Project
- Experience creating dashboards, reports or data visualisations
- Awareness of AI technologies, automation tools and productivity platforms
- Exposure to change management, business transformation or technology projects
