Graduate Structural Engineer – Bristol
Location: Bristol Salary: £30,000 Benefits:

ERS are recruiting on behalf of a well-established structural engineering consultancy seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join its expanding team in Bristol. This role offers 1–2 years of UK structural engineering experience and presents an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of private sector projects, including:
- Industrial developments
- Logistics projects
- Residential construction
You’ll gain practical experience in:
- Designing structures using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
- Exposure to different materials and construction techniques under expert mentorship

Responsibilities:
Your role will involve:
- Assisting with the design and analysis of structural engineering projects
- Structural calculations and technical reports
- Creation of technical drawings
- Collaborating with senior engineers from concept development to construction oversight
- Attending site visits and inspections
- Learning and applying UK design standards and building regulations
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 1–2 years of UK structural engineering experience
- Strong understanding of structural design principles
- Familiarity with software tools (Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit preferred but not mandatory) is advantageous
- A progressive mindset with enthusiasm for long-term development
